This short break is designed to take in the absolute best of the Dolomites; mesmerising landscapes, the extensive Dolomiti Superski, hospitable and friendly locals and traditional accommodation that boasts an impressive collection of wellness and Spa treatments.

Just an hour and a half to two hour drive from Innsbruck airport the Dolomites offer a great short break for couples. A network of world class and cosy mountain Refugios will tempt you to stay all day but the thrill of skiing around the Sella Ronda, with its towering rock faces and breath taking scenery, will undoubtedly prevail!

Day 1 - Fly into Innsbruck

Arrive into Innsbruck to be met by your driver for your private transfer to the Hotel Ciasa Salares in San Cassiano. On arrival you will be cheerfully greeted by the Wieser family and shown around the hotel and its great spa facilities.

Day 2 - Experience the Dolomiti Superski first hand

Experience the Dolomiti Superski first hand

Start the day with an sumptuous buffet breakfast at the Hotel Ciasa Salares before heading out in the Dolomiti Superski for great skiing in a truly mesmerizing and breathtaking landscape. Head to Rifugio Utia de Bioch for some gourmet local cuisine and unusual schnapps. At the end of the day relax in the hotel’s well equipped wellness area with Finnish sauna, salt steam room and indoor pool before a romantic evening dining in the hotel’s own stübli or a fondue in the wine cellars and unforgettable experience.

Day 3 - Try the local cuisine

Try the local cuisine

After another great buffet breakfast why not take a guide from the Dolomites ski and snowboard school for an adventurous days skiing to the far corners of the Dolomiti superski including Val Gardena, Cortina d’Amprezzo, Arabba and Alpe di Siusi at the same time enjoying local specialities including speck, “Vinschgerl” or rye bread, local South Tyrolean beef and apple strudel.

Day 4 - Today you decide!

Today you decide!

Depending on how adventurous you are feeling you could hire a qualified mountain guide and try your hand at ski touring. Your guide will show you hidden off the beaten track areas of the Dolomites that few have seen and your hard work will be rewarded with glorious descents on deserted snow fields, lifelong memories and a sense of achievement that makes you feel completely alive. After such an adventurous day it is appropriate that the early evening is spent relaxing in the wellness area, soothing aching muscle’s, before one final gourmet dinner at the hotel’s Michelin star restaurant “La Siriola” with fine wine from their extensive cellar.

Day 5 - Time to Head Home

Time to Head Home

Depending on your flight time, fit in a final morning ski before lunch of fresh home made pasta and perhaps a glass of Moscato Rosa, from Saint Laurenz which is only produced when the conditions are absolutely perfect and a great testamnet to the uniqueness of this area.
